Two Full Time Positions for new BGC Cranbrook Child Care Program

One Infant Toddler Educator and One Early Childhood Educator

Start Date: Tentative full time September 14th, 2026, pending program approval from Licensing. Substitute shifts in other BGC Cranbrook programs may be offered ahead of the full time start date if interested.

In this role, you will:

- Work within a current infant toddler child care program, with children ranging from birth to 35 months.
- Provide active, engaged supervision, and assist in planning and implementing experiences/activities.
- Assist in cleaning, sanitizing, and regular facility maintenance as needed and directed.
- Establish positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers.

What we’re looking for:

- ONE Infant Toddler Educator and ONE Early Childhood Educator.
- Current Childcare Emergency First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain at own cost.
- Adaptability, positivity, flexibility and the energy to thrive in a growing, fast-paced organization.
- Cleared agency criminal record check.
- Experience working in licensed child care centres considered an asset.

Rate of Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour dependant on certifications/experience, PLUS the additional BC Government wage enhancement of $6.00 per hour for qualifying candidates (ECEs/ITs only.) Position Terms: Permanent, full time. Operational hours will be Mondays-Fridays, 8:30am – 5:30pm. Shifts will include a 30 minute unpaid break.
