We are currently seeking a full-time Field & Operations Assistant to join our young, energetic, and growing company in Edmonton. This position offers a variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to develop new skills across different areas of our business.
The position will involve supporting our office and operations, as well as assisting our field team when required. You will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field and learn about infrared thermography, inspections, and other technical services.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting our inspectors with field work as a general helper
- General care, maintenance, and cleaning of inspection tools
- General repair and assembly work in the warehouse
- Trainee to become a junior infrared thermography technician
- Assisting with technical report preparation and writing
- Assisting with infrared stitch work utilizing SnagIt and Photoshop
- Packing and unpacking tools and equipment after each project
- Equipment / inspection tools calibration
- IR camera validation (upon Level II Supervision)
- Upkeep equipment organization and storage
- New equipment labeling and logging
- Participating in IRED’s safety meeting, training, and Drug & Alcohol testing when required
Skills and Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma required
- Related education or experience considered an asset
- Infrared Thermography Level 1 certification considered an asset
- Flexibility; travelling for extended periods and working extended hours will be required
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and in good physical health
- Team player with effective communication both verbal and written
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and is safety conscious
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook, comfortable working with programs like Photoshop or similar
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean abstract
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
