Support the daily operations of the LMG Chipping Team as a Log Loader Heavy Equipment Operator, starting August 2026 for a 6-month term. Your key focus will be on safe log handling and equipment maintenance.

In this role, you will report directly to the Lead Hand, ensuring a smooth workflow of logs to the debarker. Operating the log loader and other heavy machinery, you'll be responsible for conducting inspections and performing routine maintenance. This role is essential in maintaining safety standards within the operation and safeguarding the equipment.

Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate hydraulic pumps and mechanical machinery • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections diligently • Load logs for transport and unload for chipping • Assist with chipper maintenance tasks • Maintain operational documentation accurately

Requirements: • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent • Heavy Equipment Operator Certification is preferred • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required • Experience with heavy machinery operations • Understanding of safety and maintenance standards
