- Answer incoming customer calls and engage with customers to assess and understand their needs, sell, and provide basic support
- Work directly with and support field sales staff and closely collaborate with customers to build relationships
- Inventory management and basic understanding of shipping/receiving
- Manage customer accounts and enter work orders/pricing into the operational system
- Create promotions and quotes and follow up on quotes for products offered by Proax
- Ongoing product training for offered solutions
- Ship orders and follow up with customers
- Understand and work with the supplier/vendor portal
- Coordinate with the credit department regarding a customer’s credit status when urgent orders are received
- Understand customer segmentation, product mix, key customer relationships, market share, and overall economic workplace trends
- Facilitate communications between customers, outside sales representatives, technicians, and manufacturer representatives
- Other related duties as assigned
