Elevate product quality as a Quality Assurance Technician at BWXT Canada, located in Kitchener, ON. This role focuses on performing quality inspections in a critical nuclear setting.
In this role, you will be integral to our quality program, conducting independent inspections and ensuring all procedures are followed to maintain the integrity of our projects. Collaboration with Site Managers and Quality Control teams is key to achieving BWXT’s quality and safety objectives. An NDE background and relevant experience will enhance your effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform monitoring and verification of project processes • Ensure all material inspections meet BWXT's compliance standards • Maintain training records in compliance with protocols • Participate in reviews of MITPs and work packages • Conduct vendor inspections as required in office
Requirements: • Relevant post-secondary diploma in NDE or Quality • 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance roles • NDE certifications, specifically in Liquid Penetrant, are a plus • Knowledge of ASME code and compliance standards • Willingness to travel and work extended hours when needed
