This full-time contract position integrates trauma-informed care within mental health outreach. Your role emphasizes establishing connections while providing culturally grounded support to individuals facing mental health concerns and substance use issues. You will be instrumental in helping clients access critical resources and regain stability.
Key Responsibilities: • Offer compassionate,
trauma-informed support to clients • Help clients navigate recovery and build community connections • Engage with individuals experiencing mental health challenges • Operate mobile outreach unit and provide on-site assistance • Develop trust and rapport with clients through active listening
Requirements: • Demonstrated lived experience with mental health or addiction • Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-informed practices • Solid verbal and interpersonal communication abilities • Clean driver’s record and valid driver’s license • Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
