Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Painter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming interior spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications and safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to creating beautiful, functional environments in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Responsibilities

- Prepare interior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and smooth finishes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting plans.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other coatings using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize rigging techniques to access high or hard-to-reach areas safely and efficiently.
- Perform restoration work by matching existing finishes and repairing damaged surfaces to restore their original appearance.
- Maintain a clean work workplace by properly handling and storing tools such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, and carpentry equipment.




- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project managers to ensure project timelines are met and expectations are exceeded.

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on interior painting projects across residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Skilled in construction painting techniques including surface preparation, application of various coatings, and finishing touches.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for accurate project execution.
- Experience with restoration projects requiring color matching and surface repairs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to rigging, working at heights, handling power tools, and using hand tools responsibly.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing exceptional customer service throughout each project.
