Purpose of the Role
Reporting into the Buying Director, International, the incumbent is responsible for supporting international partners in executing merchandising and purchasing functions to achieve targeted financial results. They also serve as the primary point of contact for the accounts under their responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for franchise partners and build strong, long-term business relationships;
- Support franchisees in achieving their business objectives by monitoring performance, leading business reviews, and conducting regular follow-up calls;
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and maintain a comprehensive view of each market’s commercial strategies, including purchasing, marketing, visual merchandising, logistics, and e-commerce;
- Analyze sales and market trends to establish, recommend, and negotiate purchasing budgets with partners;
- Develop purchasing strategies by market, build assortments tailored to local needs, and optimize product category performance;
- Establish retail pricing and recommend seasonal promotions while respecting partners’ profitability objectives;
- Optimize inventory levels by monitoring sales, product turnover, and market requirements;
- Recommend merchandise transfers, participate in clearance strategies, and implement corrective actions as needed;
- Conduct visits to international markets to evaluate store performance, meet with franchisees, analyze competitors, and identify growth opportunities;
- Participate in store openings and support the implementation of commercial initiatives across various markets;
- Collaborate closely with Brand & Operations, Marketing, Logistics, E-Commerce, and other International Franchise Managers;
- Coordinate and follow up on various projects, including collection launches, store openings, commercial strategy rollouts, and action plans.

Requirements
- College diploma in Fashion, Marketing, Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in purchasing, merchandising, or retail;
- Experience in international business;
- Solid knowledge of the Windows environment, particularly Microsoft Excel;
- Knowledge of international markets is considered an asset;
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written (the role requires regular communication with partners outside Quebec);
- Occasional availability to participate in meetings with partners located in different time zones.
