CMHA York Region is looking for a dedicated Housing Support Worker in Aurora, ON. Engage with clients within the Community Homes for Chance to support their mental health recovery and housing retention.

This full-time role involves working directly in the community, helping clients navigate housing challenges and promote their independence. Utilize your skills in budgeting, resource allocation, and wellness planning to empower individuals to achieve their goals and integrate into the community effectively.

Key Responsibilities: • Support clients with personalized wellness and recovery plans • Assist in financial management and budgeting tasks • Connect clients to necessary community resources • Engage in advocacy efforts for resource improvement • Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance support

Requirements: • Degree or diploma in social or health services • Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers • Minimum 4 years of experience in community settings • Experience in congregate living preferred • Full G driver's license with insurance
