Parts & Inventory SpecialistLocation: Scarborough, Ontario

Position: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Parts & Inventory Specialist to join our team in Scarborough.This is a hands-on position responsible for managing incoming orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and keeping our parts and inventory area organized and running efficiently. As you become familiar with our products and operations, the role will grow to include parts identification and quoting for customers.We are a close-knit team with a positive working environment. - Receive, check, and organize all incoming parts and inventory
- Control and process incoming orders
- Enter and maintain accurate inventory records in the company system
- Ensure received products match purchase orders and documentation
- Organize and maintain the inventory/parts shop
- Monitor inventory levels and help identify shortages or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of parts coming in and going out
- Assist with locating and identifying parts as required
- Communicate with team members regarding orders, inventory, and parts availability
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- As product knowledge develops, assist with parts inquiries, pricing, and customer quotations
- Perform other inventory and parts-related duties as required

Qualifications

- Fluent in English — speaking, reading, and writing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail




- Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems
- Able to accurately enter and maintain records
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn our products, parts, and systems
- Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
- Previous experience with parts, inventory, warehousing, order processing, or a similar position is an asset
- QuickBooks (QB) knowledge or experience is a robust asset
- Mechanical or industrial parts knowledge is an asset but not required

You should be comfortable taking responsibility for the inventory area and making sure parts and orders are properly received, recorded, stored, and accounted for.Over time, we want this person to develop a strong understanding of our parts and products so they can take on additional responsibilities, including helping customers and preparing parts quotations.
