Nucor Systems is currently seeking Irrigation Service Technicians with a minimum of One year experience to assist with the seasonal maintenance and repair of Large Scale Commercial Irrigation Systems (Athletic Parks, New Developments, Storm Water Pump Stations) within the City of Calgary and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include:

· Upgrade your residential irrigation experience into a commercial irrigation career.

Troubleshooting wiring/electrical/hydraulic/mechanical problems

· Set, adjust and straighten sprinklers

· Repairing PVC/HDPE Line Breaks

· Identifying and repairing/replacing defective system components

· Fusing 2” – 12” Pipe

· · Spring Start up and Winterization

· Operating Equipment including ¾-1 ton trucks with trailer

· Excavation/Trenching/Demolition

· Reading “as-built” Drawings, making corrections if necessary

· Low voltage wiring to system controllers

· Working independently and as a Team
