The Irrigators is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. This is a full time, permanent, year-round position based out of Coombs, BC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Installation of residential and commercial irrigation systems
- Service, troubleshooting and repair of existing systems
- Programming and commissioning of irrigation controllers
- Backflow prevention device installation and testing
- Spring startups, seasonal audits and fall winterization
- Trenching, pipe work and general site preparation
- Completing service records and job documentation
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years of irrigation installation and service experience
- Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic faults in the field
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions




- Able to work independently and manage a daily service schedule
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

ASSETS
- IIABC Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) Level 1 or Level 2
- Backflow Assembly Tester certification
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Pump, VFD or fertigation system experience
- Landscape Horticulturist certification or Red Seal

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
- $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, paid biweekly
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Service vehicle and tools supplied
