We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting our organization's computer systems, networks, and hardware. The IT Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and implementing system upgrades.

Duties

- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity
- Provide technical support and training to end-users across various departments
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime
- Assist with the setup of new hardware and software deployments
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, issues, and resolutions




- Ensure cybersecurity measures are implemented and maintained effectively
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware repairs or software updates as needed
- Stay current with emerging technologies to recommend improvements for the organization’s IT infrastructure

Experience

- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, networking protocols, and security practices
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and diagnostic utilities
- Experience with hardware installation and maintenance is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist non-technical users
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are advantageous but not required

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
