About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Java Developer to join our dynamic technology team in Mississauga, ON. In this onsite role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend services, integrate cloud solutions, and drive up-to-date software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and frontend teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code accompanied by robust unit tests (JUnit, Mockito).
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve technical debt.




- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile sprint planning sessions.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for smooth deployments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience specializing in Java ecosystems.
- Technical Stack:
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and integrating messaging queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ).
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and container tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
