In July 2026, Blue Fox Entertainment Canada launched cinemacellar.com - the Canadian destination for movie lovers, collectors, pop culture enthusiasts, and entertainment fans.

With a growing presence in the Canadian entertainment space, we are excited to launch our first-ever Cinema Cellar flagship retail location , creating a unique in-person experience that brings together physical media, merchandise and memorabilia from premium partners like The Criterion Collection, Arrow Video and Kino Lorber. We are seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial, and customer-focused Store Manager to lead this exciting new chapter. This is a rare opportunity to help build a retail destination from the ground up and establish Cinema Cellar as a premier entertainment destination.

Position Summary

The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of daily store operations, team leadership, sales performance, inventory management, customer experience, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic retail setting and is passionate about film, entertainment, collectibles, and creating memorable customer experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development

- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing retail team.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and customer-focused culture.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development.




- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during operating hours and special events.

Store Operations

- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the flagship location.
- Ensure operational excellence, including cash management, opening/closing procedures, and store security.
- Maintain company standards for cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Drive store sales and profitability while achieving established targets.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Blue Fox Entertainment Canada brand.
- Build strong relationships with customers, collectors, and local fan communities.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and effectively.

Inventory & Merchandising

- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention initiatives.
- Oversee product displays and visual merchandising to maximize customer engagement and sales.
- Monitor sales trends and provide recommendations on product assortment and inventory planning.
- Ensure accurate receiving, pricing, and stock management procedures.

Events & Community Engagement

- Help establish the store as a destination for entertainment and pop culture enthusiasts.
- Organize and execute special events, product launches, movie-themed promotions, and community activities.




- Collaborate with marketing initiatives to increase store traffic and brand awareness.
- Build partnerships within local entertainment, gaming, and collector communities.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
- Proven track record of driving sales and leading successful teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems, reporting, and inventory management.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Passion for entertainment, movies, gaming, collectibles, pop culture, or related industries.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in specialty retail, collectibles, entertainment, gaming, hobby, or pop culture environments.
- Previous experience opening or managing a new retail location.
- Event planning and community engagement experience.
- Strong understanding of collector and enthusiast markets.
