OMAC World Class Martial Arts is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and kid-friendly Jiu-Jitsu Instructor to join our team for a short-term teaching position from October to December 2026.

Position Details

- Position: Jiu-Jitsu Instructor
- Location: OMAC World Class Martial Arts, Vaughan
- Schedule: Every Friday
- Hours: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Term: October – December 2026
- Class Size: Up to 35 children
- Age Range: 4–12 years old
- Potential Extension: This is a pilot program, and based on the success and demand for the program, there may be an chance to extend the position beyond December 2026.

Responsibilities
- Teach beginner-friendly Jiu-Jitsu classes to children ages 4–12.
- Introduce students with little or no previous Jiu-Jitsu experience to fundamental techniques and concepts.
- Keep classes fun, engaging, structured, and age-appropriate.
- Confidently lead groups of up to 35 children.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful training environment.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and keep young students focused and engaged.
- Encourage confidence, discipline, teamwork, and good character through training.




- Work professionally with OMAC staff and follow our teaching standards.

Requirements
- Jiu-Jitsu training and teaching experience.
- Comfortable teaching complete beginners and young children.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Must genuinely enjoy working with children.
- Energetic, patient, responsible, and positive.
- Comfortable leading large groups of children independently.
- Reliable and available every Friday from 3:00–5:00 PM throughout the October–December term.
- First Aid/CPR and a vulnerable sector/police background check are considered assets.

Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is not only knowledgeable in Jiu-Jitsu, but also great with kids. You should be able to take complex techniques and make them simple, fun, safe, and easy for a 4-year-old beginner to understand. If you are passionate about Jiu-Jitsu and enjoy helping children learn, grow, and build confidence, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
