Automotive Service Technician – Red Seal

West Side Acura

West Side Acura is seeking an experienced Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our Service team.

This position is well suited to a licensed technician who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and efficient workmanship. You’ll be working in a professional dealership environment with access to ongoing manufacturer training, modern equipment, and opportunities to continue developing your technical knowledge with the Acura brand.

Position Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns and complete required repairs
- Perform scheduled maintenance and vehicle inspections
- Identify safety concerns and additional repair requirements
- Complete work according to Acura and dealership repair standards
- Record diagnostic results, repairs completed, and recommendations accurately
- Road test vehicles when required to confirm concerns and completed repairs
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts Department team members
- Maintain an orderly and safe work area
- Participate in Acura technical training and other development programs
- Help maintain an efficient and productive shop environment

Required Qualifications

- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Strong automotive diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Ability to complete work efficiently without compromising quality
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and professional approach to work




- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dealership Service team

Previous Honda or Acura experience is an asset, but is not required. Experience using CDK or dealership CRM systems is also considered an asset.

Compensation

- $32.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Additional monthly performance bonus opportunities

Work Schedule

- Full-time
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends as required
