We are looking for an experienced Project Management Coordinator to support the commercialization of new products and packaging changes. Reporting to the VP Sales, this role will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate projects and ensure key milestones are delivered on time.
The Project Management Coordinator will support the commercialization process from initial product development through to launch. This includes coordinating timelines, tracking project deliverables, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring effective communication between Sales, R&D;, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Packaging, and Production.
The key priorities for this role include
- Full project mapping and follow through on all commercialized product launches.
- Working closely with several internal departments to ensure deliverables for customer are met (QA, PD, Sales, Production, Supply Chain).
- Managing the process of bringing new food products from the development stage to commercialization.
Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the commercialization process, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets and goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including key milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
Supply Chain Coordination:
- Work closely with all supply chain and procurement teams to ensure sourcing raw material and packaging to ensure deliverable timelines.
Quality Assurance Coordination:
- Work closely with quality control to ensure all quality measures are documented for first production runs and throughout the commercialization process, including sensory evaluation and shelf-life studies as per each customer requirement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, business or project management
- 3+ year experience in managing projects from approved product through full commercialization process.
- Food Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to independently lead and co-ordinate multi-locational projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with commercialization for 3+ years in CPG is required.
