The Roving Road Foreperson role is a permanent, full time position reporting to the Superintendent, Roads. You will lead a dedicated team of maintenance staff and sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with MoTT specifications. Strong communication and operational skills are essential for managing both team dynamics and equipment usage in diverse weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance work across service areas • Guarantee safety and efficiency in all operations • Build relationships with external agencies and stakeholders • Comply with all relevant maintenance specifications • Provide direct leadership and support to your team
Requirements: • Minimum three years in management roles required • At least five years in the road maintenance field • Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement • Clean driver’s abstract necessary • Ability to manage outdoor work and shifts
