Job Summary:The Senior Technology Architect is responsible for developing, recommending, implementing, and managing the technical architecture across hardware, software, database, and communications in a large, distributed, cross-platform environment. This role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring performance optimization, and guiding teams using structured methodologies and ITIL processes.Responsibilities:Leadership experience in developing and implementing technical architectures.Extensive experience with at least three different platforms, operating systems, database technologies, and communication protocols.Proficiency with middleware and Layer 7 gateways including CA Gateway (5+ years).Strong knowledge of IT security strategies, governance, and designing systems for zero trust (5+ years).Experience with systems analysis, design,



and performance considerations in large environments.Ability to prepare enterprise architecture deliverables and models.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Preferred Skills & Certifications:Experience with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practices.Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (Open Text ECM applications).Understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.Public sector experience.Special Considerations:Must have experience designing systems for zero trust security frameworks.Experience with CA Gateway and other Layer 7 gateways is essential.Solid focus on IT security strategies and governance.Hybrid work model requiring three days in office and two days remote.Scheduling:Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in office, 2 days remote work per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
