Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring tasks, conduit bending, and fixture installations.
- Work on construction sites or renovation projects to upgrade or replace existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety standards.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation devices used in industrial settings.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations; document findings thoroughly.




- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and project managers to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
- Assist with handyman tasks related to electrical repairs or upgrades as needed, demonstrating versatility across trades.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in industrial or commercial environments.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with precision.
- Hands-on experience working with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation controls.
- Familiarity with construction processes, renovation projects, and electrical code compliance.
- Proficiency using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools including drills and saws for electrical work.
- Knowledge of electrical theory combined with practical skills in troubleshooting complex systems.
- Prior handyman experience is a plus for versatile task execution.
