Job Overview

We’re seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our team at Atlantic Canada’s largest residential backup power dealership. This is a hands-on role focused on residential generator installations and electrical services.

Key Responsibilities

- Install Generac Home Standby Systems. As well as some work with other major brands including Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Cummins, and Champion
- Perform new home service installations and breaker panel upgrades
- Troubleshoot and service residential electrical systems
- Complete new home wiring and lighting upgrades
- Use the Housecall Pro dispatching app to track daily tasks and job progress
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other trades to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Provide detailed documentation including material lists and work descriptions

Qualifications

- Valid Red Seal Electrician certification




- Proven experience with generator systems an asset (Generac, Kohler, etc.)
- Familiarity with natural gas or propane installations is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule

- Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Occasional travel required (2–3 overnight stays per year); lodging and expenses covered
- Generac Installer Training provided by the company
