Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, with the ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various projects, including renovations and new constructions.

The Journeyperson

Electrician will ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, contributing to the successful completion of our projects in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installations and repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing devices to perform electrical work accurately.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems.
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and electrical codes to prevent hazards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.




- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

- Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or certification.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in electrical work.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and schematics.
- Experience with construction projects, renovations, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Familiarity with safety standards and electrical codes applicable to industrial environments.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
