QUALIFICATIONS
- Must hold a valid Journeyperson Powerline Certification.
- Must hold a valid Class 1A Commercial Driver’s License and maintain an insurable driving record.
- Experience operating aerial lifts and line trucks.
- Experience performing live-line work using rubber gloves and hot sticks.
- Basic knowledge of wire stringing and associated equipment.
- Basic knowledge of rigging practices and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Must successfully pass required pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing.
DUTIES:
- Perform all aspects of underground and overhead powerline distribution construction, including:
- New construction
- Modifications to existing facilities
- Maintenance of existing facilities
- Salvage operations
- Live-line work
- Material and pole hauling
- Perform any other duties as requested or directed by the Foreman.
- Current work schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Must be flexible with work hours and willing to travel and work in all weather conditions
