The Rotational Operations Pharmacist is a key member of the Operations Team responsible for providing relief to pharmacy sites requiring a pharmacist due to absences and supporting process improvement initiatives. This role ensures uninterrupted pharmacy operations, enhancing operational efficiency, and sustaining a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Provide relief coverage across assigned regions
Advise patients on prescription medication usage
Create and maintain accurate records
Assist in training and developing site staff
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation
Communicate with site manager
Stock of pharmaceutical supplies
Source contractors for operational needs
Collaborate on process improvement initiatives
Conduct informal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
Report operational concerns to the Operations Manager and Director of Operations
Submit reports on audits, process improvements, and KPIs
Support HR in sourcing, selecting, and onboarding pharmacists
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree
APA required
ISTM preferred
Authorization to Administer Drugs by Injection preferred
Valid class 5 driver's license
Experience & Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience within retail pharmacy is preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience of leadership experience is preferred
Strong organizational and operational oversight skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in managing pharmacy inventory and financials
Knowledge of Dayforce system is an asset
Ability to implement and adhere to regulatory compliance
Experience in pharmacy management and leadership is an asset
High attention to detail and valuable judgment
Ability to travel regionally
