We are looking for a Junior A/B Legal Assistant to join our Toronto personal injury law firm, a supportive, energetic environment and the opportunity to grow under a seasoned legal team with 23 years of experience.

This is an excellent prospect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and interested in developing a career in personal injury law.

The successful candidate will work closely with lawyers and senior legal staff and will assist with client intake, file administration, document preparation, communication with clients and insurers, and general litigation support.

Responsibilities

- Assist with client intake and communication
- Request and organize medical and insurance records
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding matters
- Assist lawyers and senior staff with litigation files
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Complete OCF forms according to the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS);
- Communicate with insurance companies in accordance with SABS; maintain appointment calendars and coordinate arrangements for meetings/ conferences.





Qualifications

- 1 year of A/B experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
- Strong technical skills
- Legal Assistant/Law Clerk education is an asset
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Farsi/Persian language skills are an asset
