As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Junior Accountant who brings accuracy, initiative, and a strong attention to detail to our Accounting team.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers but also understands the people and processes behind them. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of accounting functions, from financial reporting and reconciliations to accounts receivable and month-end activities, while working alongside an experienced team.

What You’ll Do

As our Junior Accountant, you’ll support the day-to-day accounting function while helping ensure our financial records and customer accounts remain accurate and up to date.

You’ll be responsible for

- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and supporting month-end closing activities.
- Reconciling General Ledger accounts, analyzing variances, and maintaining lead sheets and working papers for audits.
- Preparing and posting journal entries to ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Supporting accounts receivable activities, including reviewing aging reports, conducting credit analyses, and maintaining customer accounts.
- Managing collections by following up on overdue accounts through phone and email and working with collection agencies when required.
- Collaborating with Sales and Accounting to help reduce bad debt and support timely customer payments.
- Processing credit card and cash payments, preparing bank deposits, and reconciling credit memos and unapplied payments.
- Supporting accounts payable and other accounting functions as needed.
- Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and procedures.




- Supporting special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned.

What You Bring

- A post-secondary certificate or diploma in Accounting or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of standard accounts receivable processes and basic accounting regulations, including sales tax and lien rights.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment.




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate tactfully and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with the U.S. market and/or within the manufacturing or construction industry is an asset.

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
