Our electronics manufacturing client located in Lacombe, Alberta seeking a motivated Junior or Intermediate Software Developer to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on embedded electronics and software solutions while developing your skills across the full software development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will contribute to programming control modules, displays, and electronic interfaces while building experience in software design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Program and support electronic control modules, displays, and switches
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and test software systems and applications
- Deliver high-quality, scalable, readable, and maintainable code
- Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation
- Collaborate with team members on software development projects
- Participate in additional technical projects and related duties as required
- Occasional travel may be required

Requirements
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience
- Embedded Software expereince is a must
- Experience programming in C,



C#, and/or C++
- Experience collaborating with other developers on shared projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are considered assets but are not required:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with additional programming languages
- Interest or aptitude in graphic design
- Knowledge of CAN Bus protocols
- Mobile application development (iOS and/or Android)
- Backend development experience
- SQL and database experience

Compensation & Benefits Salary: $68,000 - $90,000 per year

Compensation is based on education, experience, credentials, and performance.
