Network technician TEER 2
· Pulling, Terminating, Running & splicing cables Copper/Fiber optic (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, coax, 25/50 pair).
· Must follow industry standards and regulations
· Installing & labelling: jacks, all wall / furniture plates
· Installation of BIX blocks, punching & terminating copper cabling
· Working towards a cabling certification (training will be provided)
· Installation and assembly of server racks/cabinets, and fire rated plywood backboards
· Installation of WAPs, J-hooks to ceiling
· Installation of TV and Computer screens
· Installation of AV equipment and HDMI cabling
· Installation of paging equipment and speakers
· Interacting and servicing clients in a professional manner
· Following all safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
· Hardworking that can work well independently and in a team environment
· Ability to speak, read and write in English
· 0 years+ Experience in structured and network cabling installation, we can provide training ( for Junior position)
· Valid G license in good standing
· Operating man and scissor lifts
· Experience with Fiber splicing and installation
· Using power tools
· Ability to work on ladders (up to 15’-0”)
· Ability to work on down low to pull cable under furniture and workstations
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Travel & Working during project hours (includes after hours, weekends and holidays), that are not limited within 8am to 5pm, and not limited to the GTA area.
· Steel toe shoes are mandatory

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
