We are looking for a 'Junior Production Scheduler' to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare the EXPRESS & HC EXPRESS, Parts Service orders for daily releases as per Load plan.
- Check for any shortages, follow up with purchasing & machine room, Manitou for ETA updates and expedite to meet the scheduled dates.
- Batch release all Regular & Express orders.
- Release all Foam PO’s and send updated open foam PO’s report to supplier.
- Develop and utilize reports to ensure understanding and compliance with the priorities in production on a daily basis.
- Cycle counts on selected inventory or work orders with first half.
- Back up for expediter.




- Contribute to the quality of both the parts and the environment within the division.
- Train as back up for fabric ordering and expediting, system updates.
- All other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in production scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Organizational, communication and time management skills. Ability to multi task and manage priorities.
- Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

PS: This is a Junior Administrative role, please apply only if you meet the above criteria. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel primarily. PowerPoint an asset.

This position is full time on-site at our Seating division in Kitchener.
