Smitten Kitten, a local designer-maker of award-winning gift and paper goods, is looking for a superfantastic Junior Studio Assistant to join our small team!

You'll be working out of @ihaveacrushonyoushop, Smitten Kitten's brick-and-mortar shop and studio in Liberty Village. It's a fun, colourful and very productive environment where no two days are exactly the same.

Weekend availability is a must.

General responsibilities include

- Picking and packing orders accurately and with care
- Preparing and shipping orders
- Opening and closing the shop
- Quality control
- Organizing products, inventory and work areas
- Keeping the shop, studio and stockroom clean and tidy
- Ringing up customers at the register

You'll also occasionally help with:
- Production and assembly of Smitten Kitten products
- Restocking inventory
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Data entry in Google Sheets/Excel
- Miscellaneous handy tasks around the shop and studio

We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual




- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Friendly and happy to work as part of a small team
- Able to follow instructions and stay on task without constant supervision
- Comfortable being on their feet and lifting/moving boxes and inventory

Retail, fulfillment, shipping or production experience is a bonus, but we're happy to train the right person. Creative or artistic skills and interests are always a bonus! ✨
