As a liaison nurse clinician, you will support non-mental health staff in treating patients with psychiatric concerns. Candidates should have a strong background in acute mental health, along with experience in geriatric and medicine fields. Your expertise in the Mental Health Act and patient care coordination is crucial to promoting cooperative treatment.

Key Responsibilities: • Consult with hospital staff on psychiatric patient care • Coordinate patient assessments and family involvement • Train and educate staff on mental health best practices • Conduct risk assessments for suicide and self-harm • Ensure adherence to the Mental Health Act

Requirements: • CNO registration as a Registered Nurse • 3-5 years experience in acute mental health • Current BCLS certification • Certified in Crisis Prevention Institute techniques • Knowledge of DSM V and psychopharmacology
