Position Overview

Kearney is seeking an innovative and technically curious AI Analyst / Developer Intern to join our Activate Connected Planning team within the Kinaxis practice. This internship provides an opportunity to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, supply chain transformation, and consulting by supporting the development of AI-enabled solutions and internal AI initiatives.

The AI Analyst / Developer Intern will support the development and commercialization of AI agents and AI-enabled capabilities within the Kinaxis Maestro platform while also helping define AI strategies and frameworks that enhance Kearney’s client delivery methodologies. This role will work closely with consultants, Business Architects, solution teams, and leadership to identify opportunities where AI can improve implementation speed, solution quality, operational effectiveness, and client outcomes.

This role is ideal for candidates interested in artificial intelligence, supply chain technology, digital transformation, consulting, and enterprise software innovation.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Development & Innovation

- Support the design, development, testing, and enhancement of AI agents and AI-enabled capabilities within the Kinaxis Maestro platform
- Assist in building task agents, process agents, and orchestrator agents that support supply chain planning workflows and decision-making processes
- Research and identify high-value supply chain planning use cases where AI agents can improve operational efficiency, user productivity, planning accuracy, and decision support within Kinaxis Maestro or similar advanced planning tools
- Support prioritization of AI agent opportunities across demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, S&OP; / IBP, scenario analysis, and fulfillment processes
- Assist in defining agent workflows, orchestration logic, prompts, integrations, and business rules for AI-enabled planning capabilities

Delivery Transformation & Process Optimization

- Analyze existing implementation methodologies and deployment approaches to identify opportunities for AI-driven optimization
- Help identify opportunities where AI can improve the speed, quality, scalability, and effectiveness of Kinaxis implementations
- Assist in building AI frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets to improve standard implementation methodologies and client delivery processes
- Assist in developing approaches that leverage AI to improve process design, testing, documentation, data analysis, training, and client enablement activities
- Collaborate with delivery teams to identify repeatable activities that can be automated or enhanced using AI technologies
- Support development of presentations, demonstrations, internal knowledge assets,



and thought leadership content focused on AI-enabled planning solutions

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field
- Robust understanding of supply chain planning concepts and end-to-end supply chain networks
- Knowledge of core planning processes including demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, S&OP; / IBP, and scenario planning
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation, digital transformation, and enterprise planning technologies
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills




- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business productivity tools

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to AI development tools, machine learning concepts, or generative AI platforms
- Familiarity with AI agents, prompt engineering, automation frameworks, or workflow orchestration concepts
- Solid understanding of supply chain planning processes and connected planning methodologies
- Exposure to Kinaxis Maestro or similar enterprise planning platforms is strongly preferred
- Ability to translate supply chain business challenges into AI-enabled solutions and workflows
- Experience with process improvement, digital transformation, or enterprise software implementation projects is preferred
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging AI technologies and cutting-edge approaches

The Kinaxis AI Analayst/Developer Intern base salary range is $70-75k CAD less required and authorized withholdings and deductions, payable in accordance with Kearney’s payroll practices. This position has been classified as exempt under applicable wage and hour law. Accordingly, you will not be eligible for overtime pay. Because this is a temporary internship position, you are not eligible to participate in Kearney’s employee benefit plans or programs, including health and welfare, retirement. You are eligible for sick leave, paid time off and relocation assistance, if applicable, as described separately.
