Pizza & Service Lead
We’re on a mission to continue Pizza Joint’s 45 year legacy of making everyone’s favourite fresh, fully loaded pizzas!
We’re looking for a Pizza & Service Lead who takes pride in making great food, enjoys working with people, and leads by example.
We are building a small-team approach where everyone knows how to do a little bit of everything. The team works together to keep the entire shift running smoothly. Depending on the night and how busy we are, you may be making pizzas, helping a customer, prepping ingredients, restocking, cleaning the kitchen or helping with dishes. On busier nights, we may have additional team members taking on specific responsibilities like dishes and front counter, but everyone still pitches in.
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with that kind of teamwork and takes ownership of the things that matter: great pizzas, happy customers, an organized kitchen and a clean workspace.
As the Pizza & Service Lead, you’ll be one of the key people on the shift. You’ll take the lead on the oven and finished pizzas, help keep orders organized and flowing, and be someone the rest of the team can count on. When the owner/manager is not on shift, you’ll take the lead in keeping the team organized and the shift running smoothly.
You won’t be expected to stand around telling others what to do—you’ll be right there working alongside them and setting the standard through your own example.
Most importantly, we want someone who cares about getting the pizza right. Someone who notices when something could be better, takes pride in a clean and organized kitchen,
and understands that the little things make a big difference to our customers.
