Da Savory Spoon is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team and support daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

- Assist cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting and preparing ingredients.
- Organize and store ingredients and kitchen supplies properly.
- Keep kitchen work areas, equipment and storage areas clean and organized.
- Assist with receiving and putting away food and supply deliveries.
- Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
- Remove garbage and recycling as required.
- Sweep, mop and assist with general kitchen cleaning.
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Support cooks and other kitchen staff as needed during busy service periods.

Requirements:

- Reliable,



punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts is preferred.
