We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Kitchen Helper to join our team. The Kitchen Helper will support daily kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, cleaning, organization, dishwashing, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a busy restaurant kitchen, works well under pressure, and understands the importance of cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, chopping, portioning, and preparing ingredients.
- Prepare vegetables, sauces, marinades, meats, and other food items as directed by kitchen staff.
- Assist cooks and other kitchen team members during busy service periods.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitize preparation areas, counters, equipment, floors, and storage areas.
- Stock and organize ingredients, food products, packaging, and kitchen supplies.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and properly storing products.
- Follow proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and FIFO procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen throughout the shift.
- Dispose of garbage, recycling, and food waste according to restaurant procedures.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Complete opening, closing,



and cleaning duties as assigned.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as required by management.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience working in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is required.
- Experience with food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, and general kitchen duties.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume workplace.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding kitchen duties.
- Ability to bend, reach, carry, and lift kitchen supplies and equipment as required.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience Kitchen / Restaurant Experience: Minimum 2 years required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
