We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and positive Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our team at our café in a small, welcoming community.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, takes pride in cleanliness, and is willing to help wherever needed. Kitchen experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right person.
What You’ll Do
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the dishwashing area, kitchen, and workstations clean and organized.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks.
- Help with receiving, storing, and organizing ingredients.
- Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Take out garbage and recycling as needed.
- Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Help keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy service periods.
- Follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
- Support the kitchen team with other duties as needed.
