Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and flavor.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.
- Support food service operations by serving dishes promptly and courteously to customers or staff.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,



notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for everyone.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Basic physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
