Position: Temporary Part-Time High School Teaching Position (Medical Leave Coverage)

Start Date: August 31, 2026

End Date: December 31, or upon the return of the incumbent (subject to change)

Kleos is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to fill a temporary part time teaching position to cover a medical leave. The position is anticipated to run from August 31, 2026 to December 31, or upon the return of the incumbent.

Salary: $66,162.73*

- Salary based on full-Time Equivalency (FTE) is calculated based on the number of students in a teacher’s case load.

Responsibilities:

- Plan engaging lessons that meet learners where they are at
- Host student-centred IEP meetings
- Develop IEPs in collaboration with Resource Teachers
- Deliver content using D2L Brightspace (LMS)
- Offer regular / weekly synchronous learning opportunities using Zoom
- Provide timely, dynamic, and responsive assessment feedback
- Report progress to families

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Education Degree
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate
