Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, organizing materials, and setting up work areas
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, following all safety protocols
- Support tradespeople by holding materials, assisting with measurements, and performing routine tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site to promote safety and productivity
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on site
- Help with transportation of tools, supplies, and waste removal as needed
Skills
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a construction environment
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently under supervision
- Positive communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Prior experience in manual labor or construction is a plus but not required—training will be provided
- Valid driver’s license is an advantage for transportation tasks
