: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in landscape architecture, specifically with experience in Florida plant materials and county-specific regulations. This position involves working on landscape plans for national builders, site contractors, and customer builders who require high-level, custom designs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and edit landscape plans for national builders and site contractors.
- Create lot-specific plans based on builder requirements and modify existing plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the estimation team to understand basic package requirements.
- Integrate site plans into AutoCAD software and add design elements.
- Ensure all designs meet specifications and regulatory requirements
- Provide advanced design work for custom projects.
- Stay updated with county-designated plans and legal requirements to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Landscape Architect License (Florida DBPR)
- Extensive knowledge of Florida plant materials
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant design tools
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce legally binding, compliant plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk and computer
- Use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment
- Communicate verbally and in writing with employees, clients, and vendors
- Occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift office materials and supplies
- Lift and/or move items up to 15–25 pounds as needed (such as files, boxes, or office supplies)
