Full-Time Seasonal (April - November)

City of Edmonton and surrounding area

Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of landscape construction and maintenance tasks
- Installation/Planting; Trees, Shrubs and Sod
- Maintenance work on sites; weed control, mowing and watering
- Operating hand tools and small equipment
- Performing maintenance and upkeep on tools and equipment on a daily basis
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Transporting materials using wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting
- Correctly fill out Paperwork

Requirements:

- At least 1-2 years landscaping experience required
- Need a to have a license (non-GDL) and have reliable personal transportation to and from job sites
- Must have a clean drivers abstract
- Punctual, respectful, positive attitude, attention to detail, and adaptable
- Ability to work long hours (up to 12 hours)




- Operate equipment and tools in a protected and responsible manner
- Time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and work in all types of weather conditions (wind, rain, heat, cold)
- Supply Own Personal protection equipment
- Ability to Operate a Skidsteer is not a requirement but will be given preference
