Position Overview
You will be working on residential landscaping projects including both hardscape and softscape installations. This is a hands-on position requiring physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities / Hardscape Installation:
- Paver patios and walkways
- Retaining walls
- Decorative concrete features
- Base preparation and compaction
- Grade work for proper water drainage
Softscape Installation:
- Tree and shrub planting
- Sod installation
- Garden bed preparation
- Mulching and finishing work
Qualifications
- Previous landscaping or construction experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Valid driver’s license (asset)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation
- Experience operating skid steers, plate compactors, and other equipment is an asset
