Dynamic Property Solutions is looking for a reliable, hardworking Landscaper to join our team in London, Ontario.
This is a hands on position working on a variety of residential landscaping projects throughout London and the surrounding area. Most of the work will involve sod installation, property cleanups and general landscaping, with opportunities to work on patios, walkways, gardens and other landscape projects.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, can handle physical work and takes pride in leaving a property looking great.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing sod and preparing lawns for new sod
- Property and yard cleanups using rakes, leaf blowers and other equipment
- Shovelling and moving soil, mulch, gravel and river rock
- Running wheelbarrows of material around job sites
- Installing and refreshing garden beds
- Planting shrubs, grasses and other plants
- Assisting with patio and walkway installations
- Loading and unloading tools and materials
- General job site cleanup
- Helping with other landscaping projects as needed
Experience We’re Looking For Previous landscaping experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone who is reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
Experience with any of the following would be an asset:
- Towing and backing up a utility or dump trailer
- Operating small equipment such as mini skid steers, sod cutters or compactors
- Sod installation
- Hardscaping or paver installation
- Garden and planting work
- Property maintenance and cleanups
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and shows up on time
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting, shovelling and moving materials throughout the day
- Works well as part of a crew
- Takes pride in doing quality work
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Valid driver's licence is strongly preferred
Pay $18.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience and abilities.
Opportunity for Ongoing Work
We are ideally looking for someone who wants more than just a short term position. There will be an opportunity to continue working with us through the winter as part of our snow removal crew and return next season for landscaping work.
For the right person, this can become a long term position with opportunities to take on more responsibility as you gain experience.
