We're looking for an experienced Hardscape Construction Foreman / Mason to lead a crew specializing in high-end residential landscape construction throughout Oakville, Burlington, Milton, and the surrounding GTA.

This isn't just a labour or production role. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, can lead people, solve problems in the field, and take ownership of a project from mobilization through final walkthrough.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a 3-person landscape construction crew
- Read and execute construction drawings, elevations, and site plans
- Complete layouts, grading, and elevations accurately
- Install interlock, natural stone, patios, driveways, walkways, retaining walls, steps, coping, and masonry features
- Complete high-quality cuts, finishes, and detail work
- Understand proper excavation, base preparation, compaction, grading, and drainage
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and daily production
- Operate excavators, skid steers, compactors, saws, and other landscape equipment
- Train and develop apprentices and future foremen
- Maintain a clean,



organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with clients and the V.I.L. team
- Identify problems early and come forward with solutions
- Take ownership of quality, productivity, and the finished product

Qualifications
- 5+ years of hardscape, landscape construction, and/or masonry experience preferred
- Previous crew leadership experience
- Solid masonry and hardscape skills
- Strong understanding of grading and drainage
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Comfortable operating construction equipment
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to drive trucks and pull trailers is a major asset
- Reliable, organized, accountable, and detail-oriented
