Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Sunshine Laundromat O'Brien. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, washing and folding laundry to a high standard, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Wash and fold laundry to a high standard, ensuring that all items are clean, folded, and presented neatly.
- Start machines for customers, ensuring that they are aware of the wash cycle and any additional services available.
- Lift and move laundry bags, weighing up to [insert weight], as needed.
- Fold laundry to a standard, ensuring that all items are folded neatly and consistently.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning the laundromat, folding tables, and equipment, to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, working effectively as part of a team to ensure that customers receive excellent service.
- You will be typically working 9 hour shifts, willing to work weekends.

Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move laundry bags weighing up to 30lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced workplace
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team




- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions:

- Work in a laundromat environment, with exposure to noise, heat, and other elements (Potentially dealing with garments that have cat/dog hair on them)
- May be required to work in a small, enclosed space for extended periods
- May be required to lift and move heavy laundry bags
- May have to deal with small shocks from static in garments.
