Hello, welcome to Windrush Hill, we are looking to add a new carpenter to compliment our already talented team!

Windrush Hill Construction is a full service contracting firm specializing in high end home renovations, additions, and custom home design-build project management for clients throughout Niagara.

The Carpenter position at Windrush Hill provides a great opportunity for those looking to continue their career in the construction industry, with varied, and intricate work. Our team works full-time hours (7:30-4:30 Mon-Fri) and we have a positive work workplace. We have long-term work, and need a reliable team member.

While we mostly work indoors, work is both indoor and outdoor, rain or shine, hot or cold. As we work throughout the Niagara Region, you will be required to drive your own vehicle to and from work.

This role involves duties such as:

- General Carpentry Tasks (install building components, measuring and cutting materials, using power tools, intricate cutting for beams, roofs, etc.)
- Project Demolition (we do everything from demolition to re-framing)
- Heavy Lifting (typically wood studs, beams, plywood sheets), up to 50lbs on your own or more with assistance.

Qualifications/Skills Looking for skilled carpenters with at least a few years of onsite experience as a carpenter.



We are looking for someone who is motivated to have a long term career. It's important that you are able to work effectively in a group setting or independently.

You need to be comfortable working in different and sometimes challenging environments, both indoors and outdoors in a variety of seasonal weather conditions. Math skills for carpentry, time management, problem solving, and organizational skills are required. Finally, as we do have client and supplier meetings onsite, it's required that you have good customer service skills.

Time Off:

- Saturday and Sunday off during the week.
- All civic holidays plus optional winter break.
- 2 weeks vacation time each year.

Compensation:

The starting wage will vary depending on your prior experience.
