Join us at RTX as a Weekend Night Process Technician specializing in E-Nickel plating of aircraft components in Oakville, Ontario. This position involves critical plating processes and teamwork.
In this onsite role, you will assist in the electroless nickel plating under the guidance of the Plating & Processing Supervisor. Your skills in process chemistry and commitment to quality will help streamline operations and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Execute electroless nickel plating procedures for aircraft • Prepare components through specific masking and fixturing • Load and unload necessary tanks effectively • Ensure proper maintenance of tanks, tools, and safety measures • Coordinate with team members across shifts to resolve issues
Requirements: • High school diploma with 1-3 years in a chemistry role • Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection devices • Must be eligible to operate under ITAR and CCGP • Ability to read blueprints and operate various hand tools • Understanding of WHMIS regulations in a work workplace
