NOW HIRING – LEAD HAND | POWDER COATING

Location: Mississauga, ON

Pay: $20–$30/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Hand to join a fast-paced powder coating operation in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have previous Lead Hand experience, knowledge of powder coating and surface preparation, and experience working with conveyor production lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support production staff on the shop floor.
- Coordinate daily tasks and monitor workflow and production targets.
- Assist with powder coating and conveyor line operations.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Monitor product quality and ensure work meets production standards.
- Ensure safety procedures and proper work practices are followed.
- Troubleshoot production issues and help resolve day-to-day challenges.
- Support the team in maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.

Requirements
- Previous Lead Hand or team leadership experience.
- Experience in powder coating and surface preparation.




- Experience with conveyor line operations is an asset.
- Knowledge of cleaning, sanding, priming, and preparing surfaces for coating.
- Comfortable working in a hot, physical, and fast-paced shop environment.
- Robust communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
