General Description Lead Operators play a vital role in supporting the production of high-quality parts in a Just-in-time environment. By working in one of our production departments, there are endless growth opportunities for an exciting and agile career in the Automotive Industry.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
- Meet hourly production quotas.
- Document daily production.
- Operate all injection machines and assembly stations
- Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
- Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
- Understand and follow the Kanban system.
- Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
- Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or—successful completion of an aptitude test
- You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.
Straight Shift Timing on Night Shift (10:00PM-6:30 AM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements. Nature of vacancy: Replacement
